We weren’t going to put in the Invisible Fence even though our neighbors were strongly recommending that we should. We changed our mind, and we’re glad we did ! Now it’s keeping Laku, our chocolate lab pup safe.
The fence was installed when Laku was 14 weeks old and we began the training immediately. After 3 sessions he quickly came to understand that the training flags marked his boundaries of his yard. Within a week we became confident that the invisible fence would indeed do its job. All in all Laku has only bumped into the fence less than a half dozen times since his training was over. Dogs and children walk by on the street, and come into the yard for visits but Laku stays within the fence. The negatives that some people had mentioned to us – the dog becoming aggressive or the dog barking because of the fence haven’t occurred. We’ve witnessed the same results with our neighbors’ golden retriever.
The Invisible Fence has given Laku the opportunity to roam safely in his yard without being tethered. For us, it has made raising a very energetic chocolate lab a whole lot easier
